Israel’s military conducted its most intense airstrikes yet on Lebanon, with 10 massive bombings reported overnight in the densely populated southern suburbs of Beirut.

Lebanon’s Health Minister revealed that more than 2,000 people have been killed since the Israeli attacks began, including at least 127 children.

Most of the casualties have occurred in the past two weeks, as the conflict escalates, heightening concerns over the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon

On Thursday, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Israeli attacks had made it impossible for the WHO to deliver a large shipment of trauma and medical supplies to Beirut.

He said Israeli strikes have killed 28 health workers in just one 24-hour span, while shuttering dozens of hospitals and clinics.
