Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has attributed Nigeria's naira stability to prayers and divine intervention.

Speaking at the Special Holy Ghost Congress in Abuja, Adeboye emphasized that the currency could have plummeted to an exchange rate of ₦10,000 per dollar without spiritual support.

He expressed concern over Nigeria’s economic challenges, particularly the nation’s reliance on imported petrol despite being a significant oil producer. Adeboye's remarks highlight the ongoing financial struggles and the need for both spiritual and economic solutions.

Adeboye weighed in on the removal of fuel subsidies, noting that it angered those who had benefited from the scheme under previous administrations. He linked the subsidy removal to the economic challenges currently facing the nation.
