Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of former Deputy Senate President Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria.

Mrs. Ekweremadu, alongside her husband and Dr. Obinna Obeta, had been sentenced to prison in the UK for their involvement in an organ harvesting case.

The former deputy senate president was sentenced to 10 years, while his wife was sentenced to six years.
