The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced the successful graduation of 10,000 recruited constables from various training institutions across the country.

The passing out parade ceremony, held on Thursday, is taking place at four police colleges and 12 training schools nationwide.

This milestone marks a significant step in bolstering Nigeria's security personnel and addressing the nation's law enforcement needs.

A police statement signed by its spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, on Thursday revealed that the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, would preside over the event as the reviewing officer.

The police said the newly trained constables had undergone rigorous physical and mental training and were equipped with the necessary orientation to effectively address the complex security challenges facing the country.

The IGP expressed confidence that the new officers will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and dedication to service, thereby upholding the prestige of the Police Force.
