First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) has clarified that contrary to misleading media reports, GHL and its Directors remain subject to multiple court injunctions.

The bank emphasized that out of the eight injunctive orders issued by Justice Dipeolu on December 30, 2024, only two were Mareva Orders, while the remaining six (Orders 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11) were neither discharged nor set aside and remain fully valid.

FBN's statement aims to correct inaccuracies in the media and reaffirm the legal standing of the injunctions, which continue to restrict GHL's operations.

This clarification underscores the ongoing legal complexities surrounding the case.

For the avoidance of doubt, First Bank maintains that GHL and its directors are still restrained from dealing with and/or dissipating monies in their respective accounts and assets connected to the subject matter of the suit. ‎
