President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to stabilizing the All Progressives Congress (APC) by addressing lingering crises within state chapters of the party.

Speaking at the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, Tinubu directed the National Working Committee (NWC) to form a team dedicated to identifying and resolving internal disputes.

“There are a few conflicts in various states. Let’s set up committees to look into the lingering problems and appeal to party leaders to remain calm and collaborative,” Tinubu stated.

The move underscores the president’s determination to strengthen party unity, ensuring APC remains cohesive ahead of future political engagements.

Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed details of the meeting in a statement titled, ‘At the APC NEC meeting, President Tinubu receives a vote of confidence and pledges to work harder for Nigeria’s prosperity.’

At Wednesday’s NEC meeting, Tinubu commended the party’s NWC for its performance and called for measures to end some of the crises in the states.

The President also expressed his determination to work harder for the country’s greater good, assuring all that the Nigerian economy was on the path of recovery as the leadership cast a vote of confidence on him.

He said the commendation from the party’s highest decision-making organ was a call for more hard work.
