President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completing and expanding major road infrastructure projects across Nigeria to improve national connectivity and regional development.
Speaking through Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani during the inauguration of Section Two of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road on Sunday, Tinubu described the highway as a critical link between the South and North and a vital channel for economic growth.
“My vision is to overhaul Nigeria’s roadways by completing and expanding critical infrastructure projects nationwide,” Tinubu said, noting that while some projects began under previous administrations, his government has refined partnerships, resolved funding challenges, and established new completion targets.
He added that new road projects have been awarded and completed in under two years to boost trade, productivity, and enhance travel efficiency, affirming that no region is being left behind in his nationwide infrastructure push.
